A Holistic Approach to Residential Design
The LACASA Method revolutionizes home services by merging Maslow's principles of human needs with the transformative power of biophilic design. This innovative approach nurtures a profound connection between personal growth and nature within your living space, creating an environment that supports both mental and physiological wellness.
Through a comprehensive evaluation of your home's physical and invisible environmental attributes, we pinpoint elements that may be adversely affecting your well-being. Our assessment delves into critical factors such as air quality, lighting, and organizational challenges, as well as the presence of harmful materials like VOC-emitting finishes.
Moreover, we recognize the impact of personal aesthetic choices, addressing how they can contribute to cognitive overload and anxiety. Our tailored recommendations focus on integrating natural patterns, soothing colors, and healthy materials designed to promote comfort and vitality within your home.
How was the Method Established?
The LACASA METHOD originated amidst the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic when families worldwide were compelled to shelter in place. During this period, designer Lannette Guerra recognized a pressing need in her community: assisting mothers with reorganizing their homes to support remote learning and work. In this context, she discerned a critical gap in interior architecture. She envisioned a role for consultants who could steer clients towards making design choices that prioritize their physical and mental well-being over mere aesthetics. This insight was the fruition of her personal journey and extensive professional background—twenty years in design, twelve in high-end residential sectors, enriched further by her studies in holistic well-being strategies and environmental psychology. This combination of technical expertise and timely insight led to the innovative LACASA METHOD. A conscious approach that meets the evolving needs of modern households and helps enhance emotional well-being, stress reduction, and cognitive function.
